On March 26,2024, Mr. Guo Yonghang, Secretary of Guangzhou Municipal Party  Committee, met with Mr. Tan Eng Chye, President of the National University of  Singapore (NUS).

On March 28, 2024, Mr. Tan Eng Chye,  President of NUS delivered a speech  on the opening ceramony of the NUS  Guangzhou Research Translation and Innovation Institute.
